Google Search Console shows no recent data – here’s why

Why are multiple days missing in my Google Search Console?

For several days, many website owners have seen no up-to-date data in Google Search Console. I had the same issue – for example since October 21, 2025, when reports suddenly stopped updating even though all properties were still indexed and crawled normally. This can happen again at any time and often affects multiple websites at once.

What exactly happened

If you set the date range in Search Console to the last 24 hours, current data is visible. That means: Google is still collecting data correctly, but the aggregation processes for longer time ranges (e.g. 7, 28 or 90 days) are temporarily not working as expected. The raw data exists – it is just not being combined and displayed properly.

Why this happens

Google processes Search Console data in multiple steps. Raw data is collected daily, then condensed into larger time ranges. Issues sometimes occur at this aggregation stage. SEO experts and users worldwide repeatedly report these outages. So it is not an individual problem, but a temporary disruption on Google’s side.

What you should do now

Nothing. The data is usually backfilled once Google resolves the issue. There is no point in changing your website, re-verifying properties or tweaking filters – the problem is not on your side.

How to make sure everything is still working

If you want to confirm your site is still getting impressions, set the date range to “last 24 hours”. You should see current values there. That confirms your website is still being tracked normally. Once reporting works again, the missing days usually appear automatically.

Conclusion

Missing days in Google Search Console are not a reason to panic. These gaps are caused by temporary issues in Google’s data processing and often affect many sites at once. As long as your site is reachable and you can see data in the last-24-hours view, everything is fine. Still: interpret GSC numbers carefully during such phases, because overall stats may be incomplete.
