WebWeAct project: Website for the EHC Happy Weekend

As part of my charity initiative WebWeAct, I created the new website for the EHC Happy Weekend free of charge – based on my own scinet CMS, which I specifically developed for flexible event formats. The goal was to create a modern, mobile-optimized event website that clearly combines program, ticket sales and sponsoring – while digitally conveying the atmosphere of the festival.

The scinet CMS allows the organizer to easily manage events, artists and content. New program items can be created, updated and archived intuitively. Videos, texts, images or entire event days can be maintained quickly – without any technical prior knowledge. The entire admin area is password-protected and accessible via a separate administration interface.

Important to know: The proceeds of the Happy Weekend benefit the EHC Königsbrunn and thus directly support the non-profit ice hockey club.

Special feature 2025 – relocation to Schwabenhalle Augsburg

Originally, the Pharmpur EISARENA in Königsbrunn is the permanent venue of the event. Due to structural limitations, the EHC Happy Weekend had to be relocated one-time in 2025 to the Schwabenhalle Augsburg. Despite the change of location, the event was a full success and will return to the EISARENA in 2026.

EHC Happy Weekend: 4 days of pure energy in Königsbrunn

The EHC Happy Weekend has been a fixed highlight in the southern German event calendar since 2022. What began as a local event has grown into a four-day music and culture highlight with several thousand visitors. Organized by EHC Königsbrunn, the event combines sports, music and club life into a unique festival experience – with well-known artists, local acts and genuine community spirit.

Four days, four themes – with top acts & guaranteed party atmosphere

• Caribbean Night: With cult DJs like Stefan Egger, Corrado and Ben, cosmic sound and LED show – real 80s vibes included.
• Rock ’n’ Roll into May: In 2024 with the Spider Murphy Gang, before that voXXclub – an evening of dancing, rock and party energy.
• Schlager Night: Acts such as Ross Antony, Olaf the Flipper, Die Draufgänger, Geier Sturzflug, FireAbend or Markus Wohlfarth created an exuberant atmosphere.
• EHC Star Night: International stars like Beatrice Egli, Pietro Lombardi, Mike Singer, Die Prinzen or in 2026 Alphaville with ela. as support crowned the weekend.
